Shelter belt and hedge removal
Old or overgrown shelter belts taken out, stumps and all. Land left clear and ready for whatever's next. Whether it's a few rows, a tired hedge or a full boundary line, we have the machinery to handle it.
What the job involves
- Old shelterbelts that have got too tall, gappy or unsafe
- Trees felled and pushed out with the excavator
- Stumps pulled so the ground can be worked again
- Overgrown hedges taken out along boundaries and drives
- Slash piled and burned off, or chipped
- Good wood cut into rings for firewood if you want it
Do you take the stumps out?
Yes. The stumps come out with the excavator, so the line is properly gone and the ground is ready for whatever you want to do with it next.
What happens to the wood and slash?
The slash gets piled and burned off or chipped. Any good wood can be cut into rings for firewood. We'll sort out what suits you when we quote.
